Q: I’m a first-year corporate associate, but want to transition to litigation. I was on moot court and clerked with a judge while in law school so I feel like I’m heading in the wrong direction. How likely is it that I will be able to make the switch?

A: As law students, many aren’t sure what type of law is best suited for them. This is true even as these newly minted lawyers enter the legal market, so determining a practice area of interest is often the result of trial and error in the early years of a legal career.
