Cooley assists Union Tribune owner in $85 million sale to the Tribune

Cooley guided the owner of the San Diego Union Tribune—Doug Manchester—in the sale of the publication to Tribune Publishing Co. for $85 million. Tribune, which owns the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune and the Baltimore Sun, said that the San Diego publication will continue to operate as a separate paper.
