SAN FRANCISCO — Former state Sen. Leland Yee pleaded guilty Wednesday morning in the public corruption scandal that rocked the Bay Area and Sacramento last year.

Yee, 67, and three co-defendants—political consultant Keith Jackson, 50, his son Brandon Jackson, 29, and former sports agent Marlon Sullivan, 30—had been set to face trial in August. Each of the four men pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy before U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer of the Northern District of California.
