SAN FRANCISCO — Hewlett-Packard Co. is attempting to ward off a trade secret lawsuit from its licensing partner in the market for automated testing software.
A declaratory judgment action filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday claims that TurnKey Solutions Corp. is seeking to block the forthcoming release of HP’s latest version of the software to extract a windfall settlement payment or to force HP to acquire it.
