SAN FRANCISCO — Stephanie Yonekura, former acting U.S. attorney in the Central District of California, joined Hogan Lovells as a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office on Monday.

Yonekura joins Hogan’s 140-attorney white-collar practice, where she said her cybersecurity experience will be especially valued. As acting U.S. attorney during the 2014 hack of Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., she worked with the numerous federal agencies investigating the incident. Hogan Lovells currently represents Amgen Inc., Anthem Inc. and UCLA in legal matters relating to recent data breaches.
