SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook Inc. and its lawyers at Perkins Coie are attempting to stamp out a suit that accuses the social networking site of wrongfully blocking an app developer’s access to users’ photos.
The Pikinis app allows users to search friends’ Facebook pictures for shots of women in bikinis. The app’s developer, Six4Three, sued Facebook in April claiming a decision to revoke third-party access to photos destroyed its business model.
