The Recorder is recognizing Google and FireEye as the winners of its annual Legal Departments of the Year awards. Google was recognized in the large company category for its patent and litigation strategy and its advancements in legal operations. FireEye won the top honor among emerging companies for its lawyers’ contributions to regulatory and compliance issues and for establishing effective patent management and legal operations programs.
The Recorder has also named winners in seven specialties, including data security, mergers and acquisitions, product counseling, litigation, patent strategy and legal operations.
