SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco-based labor and employment firm Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai will acquire Miller & Owen, a Sacramento law firm serving mostly public-agency clients, the firm announced Tuesday.
The acquisition becomes effective Thursday, and brings the firm’s lawyer head count to about 40. The two firms have “lived together” for years and are now tying the knot, said chair Louise Renne, the former San Francisco city attorney who founded the firm about 10 years ago. “Why not just make it official?”
