SAN FRANCISCO — Corporate partner Jeffrey Kateman will join the Century City office of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton on Tuesday, the firm confirmed. He departs Latham & Watkins, where he has spent his whole career.
Kateman handles mergers and acquisitions, often for private-equity clients, including Black Canyon Capital, ClearLight Partners, Craton Equity Partners and Norwest Equity Partners. He advised human resources company Adecco S.A. in its 2000 acquisition of Olsten Staffing for roughly $1.5 billion, making it the nation’s largest recruitment company.
