SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook Inc. appears to have settled gender discrimination and harassment claims brought by a former employee who said she was belittled, ignored and asked to serve drinks at work.
Plaintiff Chia Hong requested the suit be dismissed with prejudice, according to a Friday filing with the San Mateo County Superior Court. The filing doesn’t specify what led to the dismissal. Settlements in gender discrimination and harassment cases typically are confidential, and often go unreported in state court dockets.
