SAN FRANCISCO — Houston-based Baker Botts is placing a second toehold in the Bay Area. In January the firm will open a San Francisco office that will work closely with the 30-lawyer Palo Alto office it opened in 2008.
Partner Patricia Stanton, who will move from Dallas to manage the new San Francisco office, said that the firm is moving into San Francisco because of client demand and also to take advantage of San Francisco’s “vibrant” economy.
