SAN FRANCISCO — Christopher Hazuka rejoined Latham & Watkins on Monday as a partner in the corporate department in Menlo Park. He’s returning from four years in-house at the pharmaceutical company Orexigen Therapeutics Inc., where he most recently served as acting general counsel and assistant secretary.
From 2004 until 2011, Hazuka was an associate at Latham, where he worked on intellectual property and technology-based deals. He became a Latham partner in November 2011 but left for Orexigen a month later because he wanted to be more of a generalist, he said.
