SAN FRANCISCO — Twitter Inc. has turned to a high-octane defense team from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr to fight claims that the company enabled the Islamic State group by allowing the terror network to spread propaganda.
Former U.S. solicitor general Seth Waxman, a Wilmer partner, entered his appearance for Twitter Wednesday in a suit filed by the widow of an American contractor killed in Jordan. Wilmer partners Patrick Carome and Mark Flanagan are also on the defense team.
