SAN FRANCISCO — Cooley has hired securities litigator Patrick Gibbs as a partner in Palo Alto. Gibbs joins the firm from Latham & Watkins, where he formerly served as co-chair of the securities and litigation and professional liability practice.
Gibbs worked at Latham for close to 20 years. In a Cooley news release he said he is excited to join the firm’s “impressive group of trial lawyers” in “one of the preeminent securities litigation groups in the U.S.”
