Fenwick and Davis Polk help ink Cisco’s $7 billion note offering

Fenwick & West advised Cisco Systems Inc. in its multi-tiered, $7 billion note offering. The company is selling $1 billion worth of notes with a floating interest rate and $1.25 billion worth of senior notes with a 1.4 percent interest rate, both of which are due 2018. The rest of the notes include $1 billion worth of senior notes due 2019 with a 1.6 percent interest rate, $2.5 billion worth of senior notes due 2021 with a 2.2 percent interest rate, $500 million worth of senior notes due 2023 with a 2.6 percent interest rate and $750 million worth of senior notes due 2026 with a 2.95 percent interest rate.
