SAN FRANCISCO — Blue Sky Studios Inc. has agreed to pay $5.95 million to end a lawsuit brought by visual-effects artists who claim they were harmed by a “no-poach” conspiracy between animation companies.

The amount of the settlement was disclosed in a court filing Thursday afternoon, although the parties notified U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh of California’s Northern District that they had reached a deal last week.
