SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge is pressing Twitter Inc. to hone its legal challenge to a government rule that bars the company from disclosing the number of requests it receives as part of national security investigations.
Twitter sued the federal government in 2014 after being told that a draft of its transparency report couldn’t be released because it contained classified data.
