The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has tapped Medtronic chief patent counsel David Ruschke to be the next chief judge of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Ruschke will succeed interim Acting Chief Judge Nathan Kelley, who will return to his role as PTO solicitor after running the PTAB for 10 months.
