Four Southern California lawyers whose former firm accused them of stealing clients and trade secrets say their ex-employer is simply trying to punish them for leaving.
The attorneys on Tuesday asked an Orange County Superior Court judge to dismiss a lawsuit from the workers compensation defense firm Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez. Michael Misa, Martin Stefen, Matthew Koller and Teresa Ward, all formerly partners in Adelson Testan’s Long Beach office, maintain that they departed without violating any laws or ethical requirements.
