An arbitrator on Friday gave a green light to whistleblower-retaliation and breach of covenant claims filed by Joe Dunn against the State Bar of California stemming from his November 2014 ouster as executive director.
Judge Edward Infante of JAMS will also allow a claim of intentional interference with contractual relations to proceed against the bar’s former president Craig Holden and Beth Jay, a former counsel to the chief justice who also served as a liaison between the Supreme Court and the bar.
