SACRAMENTO — Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday appointed 18 trial court judges, including two in the Bay Area.
Roger Chan, executive director of the East Bay Children’s Law Office, will join the San Francisco Superior Court bench, where he will fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Richard Kramer. Prior to assuming his current role in 2009, Chan was a deputy public defender in San Francisco and Alameda counties for 10 years.
