SAN FRANCISCO—Attorneys at Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro have added more than $100 million to an antitrust class action settlement through new deals with Japanese and Korean makers of computer optical disk drives.
In filings in federal court here Tuesday afternoon, Hagens Berman lawyers said Sony and Hitachi-LG Data Storage have agreed to settle price-fixing claims against them for $28.5 million and $73 million, respectively. That’s on top of the $16.5 million and $6.5 million deals that Panasonic and NEC agreed to last fall—making for a total fund of $124.5 million.
