Netflix Inc. has been hit with new class action allegations that it breached agreements with as many as 22 million customers by jacking up subscription prices despite promising to keep them flat.
In a complaint filed Wednesday at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, lawyers at Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe and Shapiro Haber & Urmy say that Netflix went back on its pledge to “grandfather” in lower subscription prices for viewers.
