SAN FRANCISCO—The attorneys who launched an explosive lawsuit against Silicon Valley venture capitalist Michael Goguen involving claims of sexual abuse and a $40 million hush-money deal now are distancing themselves from the plaintiff.
In filings last week, Patricia Glaser and Jill Basinger of Los Angeles firm Glaser Weil Fink Howard Avench & Shapiro said that “irreconcilable differences” had developed with their client, Amber Baptiste, and moved to withdraw as counsel of record.
