SAN FRANCISCO—The Senate Judiciary Committee is set to hold a hearing next week on U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh’s nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Koh, who has presided over some of the biggest cases in Silicon Valley during her six years on the federal bench, was nominated to fill a vacant seat at the Ninth Circuit by President Barack Obama in February. According to the Senate Judiciary Committee’s website, a hearing is set on Koh’s Ninth Circuit nomination for Wednesday morning.
