SAN FRANCISCO—Lawyers for Hyperloop Technologies Inc. on Tuesday made good on their threat to deliver a “swift and potent” response to a bombshell lawsuit filed by four former employees last week.
A Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher team headed by Orin Snyder hit back at the suit with a barrage of counterclaims, including breach of fiduciary duty and failing to adhere to a noncompete agreement. The new countersuit alleges that the so-called Gang of Four plotted an “illegal” coup attempt after being repeatedly reprimanded for poor performance and misbehavior.
