The Oakland Athletics might be mired in last place in the American League West, but the Major League Baseball franchise has enlisted some top-notch legal talent for an internal investigation whose findings could be divulged by Monday.

Yahoo Sports reported Friday that MLB and the league’s players’ union had hired an outside law firm to conduct a probe into a decision by an A’s employee to place a hidden camera in the team’s clubhouse in late July. The results of that inquiry will soon be revealed to players.
