SAN FRANCISCO — A federal jury has returned a split verdict against Pacific Gas & Electric Co. stemming from the 2010 San Bruno gas pipeline explosion.
The jury of eight men and four women found the utility company guilty on six counts: five violations of the Pipeline Safety Act and one count of obstructing the National Transportation Safety Bureau’s investigation into the cause of the blast.
