SAN FRANCISCO — It was a double whammy.

Robert Arns and his team at The Arns Law Firm had been litigating a nationwide labor class action against grocery delivery service Instacart for almost a year, alleging that the company misclassifies its personal shoppers as contractors instead of employees. In November 2015, a federal judge ordered plaintiffs into individual arbitration, taking the wind out of the case.
