SAN FRANCISCO — A federal lawsuit accuses South Korean conglomerates LG Electronics Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. of violating U.S. antitrust laws by forging an agreement not to hire away each other’s employees in the United States.
The complaint, filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Friday, is the latest in a series of so-called “no poach” class actions against tech companies. So far, the suits have involved mostly U.S.-headquartered firms.
