Haight Brown & Bonesteel has acquired the Sacramento-based transactional boutique CVM Law Group and is creating a transactional practice group.
The firms had been discussing the acquisition for more than two years, Haight managing partner Christian Stouder said. Haight’s litigation clients had been asking for help with their real estate transactions, and the firm had also been hoping to build out its presence in Sacramento, where it arrived in 2015. With five new attorneys from CVM, it will have seven there.
