SAN FRANCISCO — Attorneys for the National Abortion Federation seemed to lose the argument Tuesday that anti-abortion activists can be contractually barred from turning over to law enforcement secretly recorded videos of a federation conference without first getting court approval.

Activists from a group called the Center for Medical Progress signed confidentiality agreements before infiltrating National Abortion Federation (NAF) annual meetings and recording hundreds of hours of footage they say shows abortion providers talking about illegally profiting from the sale of fetal organs.
