Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has stepped in to defend Facebook against a lawsuit claiming that it provided “material support” to ISIS, taking over from Munger, Tolles & Olson.

Magistrate Judge Donna Ryu of the Northern District of California signed off on Facebook’s change of counsel notice Monday. Kristin Linsley, who is representing Facebook, filed the notice after moving from Munger Tolles to Gibson Dunn earlier this month.
