A Los Angeles judge has ordered a former in-house attorney at Apple Inc. to refile a gender discrimination case she brought in June under the pseudonym “Jane Doe.”

The plaintiff, who worked for two years at Apple, alleges that she was fired earlier this year after complaining about working in an environment of “fear and intimidation.” Apple, in a Sept. 8 motion, had asked Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Johnson to strike the entire complaint because it violated California rules that require complaints to include “the names of all the parties.” Johnson agreed.
