SAN DIEGO — President-elect Donald Trump has agreed to pay $25 million to settle three lawsuits filed on behalf of students who say they were defrauded by his for-profit Trump University.
U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel announced the settlement of two California class actions at a hearing Friday in San Diego federal court, about an hour after New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced resolution of his state’s legal action.
