Former assistant U.S. attorney Anne Voigts has joined King & Spalding’s appellate practice in the firm’s Palo Alto office.

For the past five years, Voigts worked in the criminal appeals division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, handling cases such as U.S. v. Harkonen, in which a former drug company CEO was convicted of wire fraud based on a press release that contained misleading information, and U.S. v. Harmon, in which a defense lawyer was convicted of money laundering. Both convictions were upheld by the Ninth Circuit.
