When F. Daniel Leventhal started practicing corporate finance law 35 years ago, he said he enjoyed being able to travel and meet people. Those aspects of the job dwindled over the past decade.

Though he still enjoyed his work as a partner in Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office, it depressed Leventhal that instead of walking over to talk face-to-face, associates would send emails from down the hall.
