SAN FRANCISCO — Daniel Petrocelli, the O’Melveny & Myers attorney who represented Donald Trump in litigation over Trump University, has stepped in to represent the homeowners association of San Francisco’s sinking Millennium Tower.

In a press release Tuesday, the association announced that Petrocelli will serve as lead counsel in a forthcoming lawsuit that will seek to have the developer of the 58-story residential skyscraper and other parties bear the costs of repairing the building, which has sunk 16 inches into the earth and is tilting to the northwest.
