Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton saw its gross revenue rise 8.5 percent in 2016, to $607 million, the 26th consecutive year of revenue growth by the firm, said its chairman Guy Halgren.

Revenue per lawyer stayed flat at $925,000, while profits per partner rose 3.5 percent, to nearly $1.5 million. Sheppard Mullin’s overall head count grew 8.1 percent, to 655, and the firm increased the ranks of its equity partners to 125, a 2.9 percent bump.
