SAN FRANCISCO — In an extraordinary 31-page order, U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam Jr. of the Northern District of California on Thursday dismissed a trade secret suit because of “pervasive and egregious” refusals by the plaintiff’s lawyer to follow court orders.

Gilliam dismissed the suit brought on behalf of Bay Area big-data startup Loop AI Labs Inc. citing a string of discovery violations by the company’s lawyer, Valeria Healy of Healy LLC.
