The Fourth Appellate District denied a petition for writ of mandate. The court held that the filing of criminal charges against a juvenile offender prior to the effective date of Prop 57 did not deprive him of his right, under Prop 57, to a juvenile court hearing to determine his fitness for prosecution in criminal, rather than juvenile, court.
