A federal judge has approved a $25 million settlement resolving several fraud lawsuits against Trump University that President Donald Trump once insisted he would never settle.

U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel of the Southern District of California approved the settlement on Friday, one day after holding a final approval hearing in San Diego. The settlement resolves two class actions and a case brought by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman that alleged Trump University falsely promised Trump personally handpicked the instructors and that the program was an “accredited university.”
