Hogan Lovells confirmed Tuesday its hire of Silicon Valley rainmaker Richard “Rick” Climan and three other M&A lawyers from this technology transactions team at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. But the moves, the news of which first emerged last week, are not yet final.
Climan and fellow partners John Brockland, Keith Flaum and Jane Ross are still being held by Weil, and their biography pages remain on the firm’s website. Hogan Lovells global corporate head David Gibbons declined to comment on when their notice period will end, saying it was a question for their former firm. Weil did not respond to a request for comment by the time of this story.
