The Second Appellate District affirmed a judgment in part and reversed in part with directions. The court held that a terminated employee stated claims for associational discrimination and wrongful termination in violation of public policy where he alleged that his employer, with notice of his intent to take paid leave to donate a kidney to his physically disabled sister, terminated him two days before the effective date of the Michelle Maykin Memorial Donation Protection Act.
