The First Appellate District affirmed dependency court orders. In the published portion of its opinion, the court held that appointed counsel for the minor child in these dependency proceedings exceeded her authority in filing an appellate brief, without the concurrence of the minor’s trial counsel and guardian ad litem, that directly contradicted the minor’s position in the dependency proceedings below.
