The Fifth Appellate District denied a petition for writ of habeas corpus. The court held that a state prison inmate may be validated as an active gang member so long as any one of the three source items relied on by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation shows active gang membership within the six years immediately preceding the date of validation.
