The court of appeals affirmed a district court judgment. The court held that a defendant’s Nevada-law conviction for conspiracy to commit robbery was a violent felony for purposes of sentencing under the Armed Career Criminal Act. The court held further that the defendant’s Nevada conviction for second degree kidnapping likewise qualified as an Armed Career Criminal Act violent felony.
