The court of appeals reversed a district court order denying a motion to remand a removed action. The court held that the district court lacked federal subject matter jurisdiction over a removed California Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act case because it was not a “class action” for purposes of the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005.
