C.A. 3rd;
C071857
The Third Appellate District affirmed a judgment. The court held in the published portion of its opinion that substantial evidence supported a defendant’s conviction for abduction of a minor for prostitution where the minor, who had a history of temporarily leaving home and had been asked to depart after a particularly difficult period, nonetheless retained a substantive relationship with her mother and therefore remained in her mother’s legal custody at the time of the abduction.
