The court of appeals affirmed a district court’s order of dismissal. The court held that a California district court lacked subject matter jurisdiction under the local action doctrine where a Connecticut real property owner sought to allege trespass-based claims against a satellite television provider. The court held further that the local action doctrine governs federal court subject matter jurisdiction.
